A welcome reception and a gala diner will round off the trip to Graz.
Here we present the first plans we have:

Welcome Reception:
The welcome reception is possibly to take place in aiola upstairs. It is situated
on the "Schlossberg" a hill in the center of Graz. It can be reached via elevator.
If the weather is fine, the reception will happen outdoor. The view over the whole
city of Graz is breathtaking.

Lunch:
Thursday and Friday during lunch break we offer a buffet in the Café Galileo,
situated on the campus of Graz University of Technology. If the weather is fine,
tables are available for eating outdoor.

Gala Diner:
Thursday evening, we will have a banquet in one of the oldest hotels in Graz, the
Erzherzog Johann Hotel. For entertainment, the dinner will be accompanied by
magicians of "Magischer Zirkel Graz".

How to get there:

Hauptplatz:
You can take the tram (lines 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) to Hauptplatz. Alternatively you can
take the bus (nearly all lines) to "Jakominiplatz" and go through the "Herrengasse"
to the Hautplatz (about 5 min). From the conference site it is a 20-minutes walk
to Hauptplatz.

Welcome Reception:
From "Hauptplatz", take the "Sackstraße" until "Schlossbergplatz". There you
see a hill: this is the "Schlossberg". The reception site is situated on the hill so you
have to climb the hill. You can go by elevator or climb the "Kriegssteig"... up to the
"Uhrturm", which is the symbol of Graz. The restaurant where you have to go,
is called "aiola upstairs" and is situated just a few meters away from the Uhrturm.

Gala Dinner:
From "Hauptplatz" take the "Sackstraße". The Hotel "Erzherzog Johann" is one
of the first buildings on the left hand side.
