• When flying, fly into Vienna airport (VIE)
• To get to Semmering from the airport, you can
• By train, leaves every thirty minutes, takes between 2 and 3 hours: Austrian Railways
• By rental car, about one hour. Here are the directions and an arbitrary car rental website . If you rent a car, consider offering to share the ride by posting a message in our forum (see below).
• We will organize taxis from the Vienna airport to the hotel. A shuttle bus will hold up to 7 people and costs around €30 per person, depending on how many people share the ride. If you want to share a taxi, send an email to avm2008@iaik.tugraz.at stating day and time of arrival at VIE and your flight number. You will be informed of the departure time of the taxi a few days before the meeting.

You can also fly to Graz, if you prefer. Semmering is pretty much in the middle. Vienna is typically easier to reach, unless you fly from Stansted, in which case you get a cheap connection to Graz.
