Tram line number 6 starts at Graz Hauptbahnhof (central station) and runs over Jakominiplatz to Neue Technik, St. Peter Friedhof (St. Peter cementary), and terminates at St. Peter. The hotels below are all near one of these stations. The IAIK is near the station St. Peter. See the overview map for the locations of the hotel as well as the IAIK, and the tram stations Jakominiplatz, St. Peter Friedhof, and St. Peter.

**** HOTEL MERCURE GRAZ MESSE - Is the hotel nearest to the IAIK. The hotel can be reached by taking the tram line 6 from Jakominiplatz (in direction St. Peter) and leaving at the tram stop St. Peter Friedhof (St. Peter cemetary). Afterwards you have to walk along side the cemetary and at the end of the cemetary the hotel is on the right hand side. The IAIK is within walking distance from the hotel (~ 5 minutes). Room prices vary from 60 - 120 / single room. Please notice that there is a special rate for TU-Graz visitors (75 € with Breakfast / single room). IMPORTANT: To get this special rate you need to book per telephone/e-mail/fax and indicate that you are a visitor of TU-Graz. Unfortunately it is not possible to get the special rate if you book online via the website.

*** HOTEL GRAZERHOF - Is in the city centre. The hotel can be reached by foot from Jakominiplatz. You have to walk from the Jakominiplatz to the Herrengasse and turn left at the Stubenbergasse. Follow the Stubenbergasse to the next crossing. The hotel should now be in front of you. The IAIK can either be reached by tram (from Jakominplatz take the tram line 6 in direction St. Peter and leave at tram stop St. Peter) , or by foot (~ 20 minutes). Room prices vary from 45 - 70 / single room.

** HOTEL ZUR STADTHALLE JOHANNES - Is also very near to the IAIK. The hotel can be reached by taking the tram line 6 from Jakominiplatz (in direction St. Peter) and leaving at Neue Technik. The hotel is on the opposite side of the street of the tram stop. The IAIK can be reached by tram (from Neue Technik take line 6) or by foot (~10 minutes). Room prices vary from 40 - 55 Euro / single room.

We think the most convenient way is to make a reservation at the Hotel Mercure Graz Messe by using the special TU-Graz rate (you get the fare by specifying that you are a guest of the TU-Graz).
